Clipboard history, a color picker and classic mouse scrolling in one small, native menu-bar app. Everything stays on this Mac.
Makitro started as a developer's tidy-up. A clipboard manager, a window snapper, a scroll fixer, a display tool and a keyboard-cleaning app, each with its own icon, permissions and update schedule. Makitro is the one native app that replaces them.
To be straight about it: clipboard history and scroll reversing are in Makitro today; window management, monitor controls and keyboard cleaning are next. And if you only need one of these, Rectangle and Maccy are great, free, open-source apps. Makitro is for people who'd rather have one.
Every tool has its own switch. A tool that's off costs zero CPU and never asks for a permission.
Everything you copied, a keystroke away. Press ⌃⌘V anywhere.
Pick any pixel on screen with ⌃⌘C and copy it in the format you need.
Classic scrolling on your mouse wheel, natural scrolling on your trackpad. macOS makes you pick one; you don't have to.
Lock the keyboard for a minute so you can wipe it without typing into something. The mouse keeps working, and a timer always ends it.
Snap windows into place with the keyboard or by dragging to an edge.
The display controls macOS keeps for Apple monitors.
A clipboard manager sees your passwords, messages and code. So Makitro is built to keep all of it local, and to be easy to check.
History is stored on this Mac, excluded from Time Machine, and deleted when you say so. It's never uploaded or synced.
No tracking, no crash-reporting SDK, and clipboard contents are never logged, even in debug builds.
Makitro Pro verifies its license on your Mac with a signature check. No activation server, no phoning home.
Run Little Snitch (or the free LuLu) and watch Makitro. The only connection it ever makes is the update check to makitro.app, and only after you've said yes to it. Read the full privacy policy.
Written in Swift and SwiftUI. No bundled browser, no web view, light on memory, at home in Light and Dark Mode.
Makitro does no work for tools that are off. Permissions are asked for only when you turn on the tool that needs them, with a plain reason first.
Everything here today is free. Pro, when it arrives, is a one-time purchase: no subscription, no account.
Yes. Clipboard History, Color Picker and Scroll Reverser are free, with no trial timer, no account and no ads. Keyboard Cleaning will be free too. Nothing that's free today will be moved behind Pro.
$14.99, once, with a $9.99 founder price at launch. It includes all 1.x updates and works on up to 2 of your Macs. If it's not for you, there's a 14-day refund, no questions asked. Details.
Scroll Reverser needs an Accessibility event tap to change scroll direction for the mouse only, and the App Store sandbox doesn't allow that. So Makitro is distributed directly, signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, which means macOS has checked it for malware before you open it.
Only to check for updates, and only if you allow it: Makitro asks before it checks automatically. The check downloads makitro.app/appcast.xml and sends nothing beyond a normal web request with the app version. Clipboard history, colors and settings are never sent anywhere, and the Pro license is verified offline.
